Located within the serene conservation area of Sedgeford in Norfolk, this adorable cottage promises a delightful escape for a couple and one canine companion. Sedgeford is on the historic Peddars Way, a 46-mile-long scenic route beckoning avid walkers and their furry friends for short or long trots through scenic landscapes. Within 400 metres, you''ll find a welcoming pub that welcomes two and four-legged visitors. And if the sea air calls, head to the golden sands of Hunstanton whose Old Beach (5 miles) welcomes doggies all year round.

This sweet property combines old-world charm with modern comforts to ensure you and your pets feel right at home. Quirky details like 1950s prints and exposed brick walls create a stylish ambience. In the cosy lounge, nestle down with your loved one while your pet sprawls herself out on the rug, warmed by the heat of the wood burner. You’ll have a shop for picking up essentials within 1 mile, and in Heacham (3 miles), you can soak in the myriad of scents at Norfolk Lavender with your pet on a lead. At Sandringham (6 miles), dogs are welcome in the immaculate 243-hectare Royal Park. Fantastic stay here at The Nook. Really cant fault the place...The weather wasnt the best to us to start off the summer holidays but we made the most of it. Norfolk Lavendar in Heacham is worth a visit and The White Horse in Brancaster was brilliant for a nice dinner out. Everyone is very friendly in Norfolk with directions and recommendations on wRead morehere to go. We are seriously considering packing up the house and moving here due to the charm and beauty of this lovely part of the world. Freddie the spaniel very much enjoyed the woodland walks as parts of the beaches are off limits this time of year. Hide

This has been one of the best places we have stayed in, not having an oven was alot easier than we thought and made us find new things to cook when back home. We loved the Deli in Thornham and even went slightly further down the coast to do a seal trip in Blakeney which is great to see. We have so much more of Norfolk to see and cant wait to returnRead more next year. Thank you very much for letting us stay in your wonderful home. Hide

Fantastic cottage and really well thought out. The furnishings are lovely. Great added extra with the fenced off garden for the dog on the warmer days. Local walks in Hunstanton where great and the Chinese takeaway in Heacham was delicious.

spent a great week here, lots of local walks to be done with the dog and great pub lunches/dinners, one of my favourites was the The Gin Trap in Ringstead. Highly recommend staying here if you wish for peace and quiet.

Very good accommodation. Only (minor) grip is that there were some very low ceilings and lights which is not great for someone who is tall! Also would benefit from a door to the stairs or bedroom: not easy with this property but made sleeping-in difficult with a dog who is more than happy to climb the stairs to wake its' master! Minor point!

The cottage was beautiful, very clean and really cosy in the evenings. Couldnt have asked for a better place to stay! The local pub was great and the beaches near by where fab for a long walk. Hopefully will return soon.
