At a glance

  • A well-positioned annexe with a private hot tub
  • Boasts wonderful views of the surrounding fields from your garden
  • Pet-friendly property with close-to-travel links to explore all of Cornwall with ease
Property code: OC-T27285

Set in the gardens of the owner’s estate, this pet-friendly annexe makes a delightful couples’ bolthole. Sleeping two guests and one happy hound, it’s ideal for a romantic getaway or a solo escapade to the heart of Cornwall, with man’s best friend by your side. Sniff out adventure along the trails and beaches of Cornwall by day, and let sleeping dogs lie by night as you sip a glass of your favourite tipple while bubbling in the hot tub and gazing at the stars.

Adjoining the owner’s property but enjoying total privacy, this single-storey annexe has a light and fresh interior with a subtle maritime theme throughout. Rustle up delicious home-cooked fare in the kitchen, before settling down for a romantic meal for two on the patio, watching for wildlife across the fields. Then get comfy on the large corner sofa to watch a film, or indulge in a spot of stargazing from the hot tub while your pup potters around the garden. When bedtime calls, slip under the covers of the comfortable double bed for a restful night sleep, before a morning shower gives you a new leash of life.

This is a fantastic area for you and your four-legged friend to explore, with a choice of walks from your home and easy access to both coasts. Surf dogs will love a trip to Newquay (10 miles) where they can gallop on dog-friendly beaches, and enjoy coastal strolls along the Pentire Headland. Pet-friendly Padstow is only 13 miles north, where you can take your sea dog on wildlife-watching boat trips and munch fish and chips in dog-friendly restaurants.

The property is a little off grid it states that the beach is 0.5 miles away however it isnt its about 6 miles away. Our electric kept cutting out the owners were on it straight away which we couldnt fault its just a bit of an inconvenience. It stated we would have an iron we had an ironing board just no iron and we did ask for one but didnt receivRead moree one. The property could of been abit more private where the hot tub is concerned as we had come back from a day out and wanted to relax in the hot tub and the owners were having a family/friends bbq and the children were playing frisbee and it kept coming into what was supposed to be our private garden area .
