Rest and recharge in this characterful cottage in Mundesley. Sleeping five guests and two furry chums, it’s the perfect base for families looking to explore this beautiful stretch of the Norfolk coast. You’ll be just 0.5 miles from the sandy beach, and the popular resort of Cromer is 7.5 miles away. The cottage has two gardens, providing ample outdoor space for your four-pawed pals.

The holiday home is bursting with original features, along with homely touches for a comfortable stay. The cosy lounge is a haven of tranquillity – unwind here, listening to the crackling of the wood burner, with the hounds curled at your feet. A traditional kitchen/diner provides a memorable space for family mealtimes, and is equipped with everything needed for a self-catering break, including an AGA. The sunroom offers a quiet place to chill out, with a sofa and TV, and is ideal for children seeking a little independence. Completing the ground floor is the family bathroom. Upstairs, you’ll find three gorgeous bedrooms. The single bedroom is reached via the king-size bedroom, and is a handy set-up for families. Outside, you’ll find two gardens: to the front is an enclosed lawn where you furry pals can burn off steam, and to the rear is a courtyard with furniture and a BBQ for al fresco dining.

Mundesley is a charming Victorian village, with a good range of woof-welcoming cafes and pubs to refuel in after a beach walk. The beach itself it vast and sandy, and is backed by a long promenade. There is a dog restriction in summer months, but you’ll find ample space either side of the main beach for off-lead fun. The National Trust properties of Felbrigg and Blickling Hall are within 12 miles, and both have extensive parklands that welcome four-pawed visitors.

Our stay at Ivy Cottage was absolutely lovely. It is clean, tidy, well looked after and one of the best equipped holiday cottages we have ever stayed in - I cannot think of anything we could have needed that hadnt been thought of.
