Get away from it all at this wonderful three-storey townhouse sitting in the heart of the fishing town of Brixham. Sleeping four people across two bedrooms and welcoming two canine companions, this coastal bolthole is the ideal accommodation option for families or groups of friends seeking a traditional seaside break on South Devon’s stunning coast. Spend glorious days strolling along the town’s bustling waterfront, eating in the award winning restaurants or exploring the nature reserve at Berry Head; and in the evening come home and relax in the cottage’s stylish living area while you admire the stunning sea views over the harbour.

Step inside and climb up the stairs to reach the second floor. There you’ll find a wonderfully-light and bright contemporary-style open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a large window that boasts great views over Brixham harbour and the sea. Take a moment to make yourself at home and then head to the smart kitchen area to whip up some dinner. Gather everyone in the dining area to eat before you make a beeline to the living area to slip onto the sofa to catch up on your favourite TV shows while your pups snooze contentedly at your feet. At the end of the day, you’ll find two bedrooms to choose from – a glamorous double on the first floor and a stylish twin on the ground floor. Feel the sand under your feet at the dog-friendly Churston Cove (2 miles). You’ll love the views and your dogs will adore splashing about in the shallow waters.

With the harbour and beach within 0.5 miles and the South West Coastal Path nearby, you’ll find plenty of interesting walks to enjoy.

Brixham is centrally located adjacent to other towns in the English Riviera. Paignton is 5 miles and Torquay is only 8.5 miles away from the property. Visit Paignton Zoo Environmental Park, great for every age range. A 15 minute drive away you can reach the car ferry point for historic Dartmouth. If you do not fancy driving, then visit Torquay or Paignton using the foot ferry from the Brixham Quay.

Alternatively, explore the lovely grounds of Coleton Fishacre (4.5 miles) – a 1920s’ country retreat complete with a tropical garden by the sea. Dogs are not permitted inside the home, but they will love exploring the beautiful grounds. They’re also welcome in the cafes and shops.

Highly recommended if you want somewhere a few minutes walk from the harbour front with great views. The property is even nicer than it appears in the photos. Its immaculately clean and feels like the carpets are new and bathroom also seems very new. The kitchen is well equipped. As advised it is in a steep location but internally staircases have hRead moreand rails and the harbour can be reached by wide, shallow steps down to the sea front (with hand rail if needed.) We had no trouble parking nearby when arrived in the evening. The living room is at the top with a low window for a great view. There was good ventilation and even though we didnt have high temperatures during our visit in July, it felt fresh and cool throughout so I imagine would be comfortable in all weathers. The property has retained character while being very well presented. We would definitely come back again. Hide

The cottage is in a fantastic location with a beautiful view. It is very clean and theres everything you need.

Excellent accommodation, had everything we needed for our stay. Lovely view of the harbour which was easy to access via the steps to the right or the slope to the left. The property was warm, welcoming and spotlessly clean.
