This superb barn set on a private estate offers plenty of space for families or friends to escape from it all in the Shropshire countryside at any time of the year. Enjoy the hot tub, BBQ or fire pit, relax under the pergola or gather round the wood burner in the comfortable lounge.

Impressive furnishings combine with period features and great attention to detail in this lovely property. Light floods in to the spacious lounge thanks to floor-to-ceiling patio doors; throw them open for that inside/outside feeling, or cosy up by the wood burner with your pups by your feet. From the adjacent dining room it’s two steps up into the huge kitchen, where you can whip up delicious meals on the range cooker. Open-tread stairs lead to the first floor, with two stunning king-size rooms and a cosy twin with a sloping ceiling. They all share two bathrooms - one with a shower over the bath, and the other a shower room, each with a WC. The outside space here is a huge area where you can gather round the fire pit, dine under the pergola or stargaze from the bubbles of the hot tub. Three steps lead to a raised lawn where your furry friends can play.

In tranquil rural surroundings on the edge of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this lovely holiday destination is just 4 miles from the historic town of Montgomery, renowned for its walking and cycling trails, as well as a Medieval castle and an array of shops and places to eat. You can access the Offa’s Dyke Path National Trail here, too. Beautiful cottage, lovely decorated, the location was lovely. Great walks close by and a pub in walking distance up the hill, and the hot tub topped it off.

Beautiful location and perfect for walking the dog in the woodlands and fields right on your doorstep. Hot tub was a winner with the kids and the garden is secure for the dog. Log burner was such a treat it really did make the holiday special. The only gripe is the beds were small and uncomfy but we do have a tempur at home so that might be why. ThRead moree kitchen really does need a large fridge as we struggled to fit a weeks family food shop in there which was annoying. Hide

Perfect get away for my dads 60th. A week of pure relaxation! Even had some snow! That view with the snow was just unbelievable. The barn is stunning and the owners have thought of everything, we couldnt have asked for anything more.

Beautiful cottage. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Not very much wood for the fire but the lounge was so warm that we only had to buy one extra lot. What a beautiful cottage Camlad Barn is. So well equipped as well. Everything we needed was there. Nice little touch of hair dryers and torches in every bedroom. The amazing hot tub is one of the highlights of the property and is checked daily by one of the team. The location is just stunning and so quiet and relaxing. So much wildlife surrounds yoRead moreu! If you want some time away from busy fast paced life you should definitely give Camlad Barn a visit. We loved the local Miners Arm for pizza night as well. Definitely need a car to get around if you have limited mobility but beautiful walks in the surrounding areas and local Marington Estate. Our dog loved his time away with us and it was brilliant that he could come with us and enjoy the wonderful enclosed garden. Hide

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful luxury barn with six friends and one very happy dog! The location was perfect set in a peaceful, quiet area that offered the ultimate getaway from the hustle and bustle. The barn itself was stunning, blending rustic charm with modern comforts, and spacious enough for all of us to relax and unwind. OnRead moree of the highlights was the lovely walk to the local pub, where we enjoyed drinks. The surrounding countryside provided scenic walking routes, making it perfect for both us and our dog, who loved exploring the open spaces. Overall, it was the perfect retreat for a weekend of relaxation and fun with friends. We would definitely return! Hide

Absolutely amazing. I am tempted to give Camlad Barn a poor review, only in the hope others dont book and it is more available for my wife and I to return but that would be unfair and selfish. The setting of the property is outstanding with amazing views. It was immaculately clean and is equipped with everything that you would need. A large outdoorRead more area to relax in with a lovely enclosed garden, pretty sitting area, separate allocated parking and hot tub which again, was immaculate and cleaned daily. The inside of the property is both spacious and very stylishly decorated and furnished. All the staff we came in contact with were incredibly friendly and gave excellent advise of local places to visit of which are many. If you want a fast paced, stressed, busy holiday with lots of people, vehicles and buildings this is not for you. If you want the absolute opposite, it is perfect. I can not recommend Camlad Barn enough and we cannot wait to go back. Oh, our 14 year old collie absolutely loved it as well. Hide

This is a beautifully appointed holiday cottage in a delightful peaceful setting. Comfortable beds, high quality bedding and towels (including extra towels for the hot tub) were much appreciated. The croquet set got lots of use as did swingball. The garden was secure, not overlooked and afforded lovely views of the surrounding countryside. The EV cRead moreharging point was a great plus for us too. There is lots to see and do locally and lovely walks from the door. Several of our party enjoyed a tour of a nearby vineyard.
