This superb barn set on a private estate offers plenty of space for families or friends to escape from it all in the Shropshire countryside at any time of the year. Enjoy the hot tub, BBQ or fire pit, relax under the pergola or gather round the wood burner in the comfortable lounge.
Impressive furnishings combine with period features and great attention to detail in this lovely property. Light floods in to the spacious lounge thanks to floor-to-ceiling patio doors; throw them open for that inside/outside feeling, or cosy up by the wood burner with your pups by your feet. From the adjacent dining room it’s two steps up into the huge kitchen, where you can whip up delicious meals on the range cooker. Open-tread stairs lead to the first floor, with two stunning king-size rooms and a cosy twin with a sloping ceiling. They all share two bathrooms - one with a shower over the bath, and the other a shower room, each with a WC. The outside space here is a huge area where you can gather round the fire pit, dine under the pergola or stargaze from the bubbles of the hot tub. Three steps lead to a raised lawn where your furry friends can play.
In tranquil rural surroundings on the edge of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this lovely holiday destination is just 4 miles from the historic town of Montgomery, renowned for its walking and cycling trails, as well as a Medieval castle and an array of shops and places to eat. You can access the Offa’s Dyke Path National Trail here, too. In 15 miles you can reach the pretty town of Church Stretton, where you can explore the shops or stroll along the National Trust-owned Long Mynd.
