Sniff out rural adventures from this characterful, dog-friendly, former mill in the Shropshire village of Chirbury. Welcoming two dogs and their ten human friends, this picture-perfect property has an incredible, spacious, outdoor area boasting countryside views, access to beautiful walking routes, and a bubbling hot tub.

Hang up dog leads, coats, and walking boots in the porch and hallway before heading through to one of two comfortable lounge areas. One contains plenty of comfortable seating and a Smart TV, while the other has further seating and a wood burner, a perfect spot for warming up paws and getting stuck into a good book. The elegant and contemporary kitchen/diner is a great space for cooking and socialising together, and a handy utility room is ideal for storing all your dogs’ items. A seperate WC completes the ground floor. Upstairs on the first floor is a contemporary family bathroom and four stylish bedrooms, one of which boasts its own en-suite shower room. On the top floor is the master suite with a super-king-size bed and en-suite shower room. Outside, there''s a lovely, large garden with mature trees and shrubs, a spacious lawn, and a patio area containing a hot tub, seating and a BBQ. Please note, there is a river running through the end of the garden.

Lead the way to adventure from the garden, across the bridge, and into the surrounding countryside. Head 10 miles to the delightful Stiperstones National Nature Reserve where dogs are welcome to explore on leads or head off along the Offa’s Dyke walking trail which winds through Shropshire and Powys. There are a couple of shops and dog-friendly pubs in the pretty town of Montgomery (4.5 miles) so you won’t have to travel far for amenities.

We had a truly fantastic holiday at Marrington Mill. We are two families that holiday together frequently and we all agreed it's hard to beat such an amazing cottage and idyllic location! The layout of the cottage was just perfect - having two lounges was ideal, the bedrooms and bathrooms are good sizes and the large kitchen and dining area worked Read morereally well. Our kids (aged 16, 13 and 12) also loved it and spent a LOT of time in the hot tub! The gardens and the view are so beautiful and we really enjoyed the secluded location. Having direct access onto footpaths was brilliant and we did numerous walks from the cottage - appreciating that we didn't need to take the car out to do so. Having an EV charging point was also a real plus for us! Thank you for creating such a wonderful holiday home in a beautiful setting, we would love to return to Marrington Mill in the future Hide

Great base to explore the local area. In beautiful secluded setting where you can go on walks right from the door. Accommodation and amenities to a very high standard and specification throughout

We really enjoyed our stay at The Mill, a fabulous and magical place, the setting looked like Narnia in the frost when we arrived. Perfect in every way. We will be coming back!

Our stay at Marrington Mill really couldnt have been more perfect. The location is stunning and the property is beautiful and kitted out to a really high standard. Well definitely be back! Our only issue was the signposting on the small circular walk wasnt clear but it made for a lot of laughter when we were completely lost!
