Return from your dog-friendly days out to relax at this inviting apartment at the heart of vibrant Cromer. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom, duplex hideaway makes a superb base for anyone eager to explore North Norfolk with a four-legged friend while also being close to shops and eateries. Pick up the Norfolk Coast Path here and strike out in either direction or while away afternoons on beautiful beaches, such as East Runton, 1.5 miles away, where sea-loving canines can bound in and out of the waves whenever they like.

Follow your waggy-tailed friend up to the second floor of the building to let yourselves into your private quarters. Take a few more steps up together to head through to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Light the wood burner in here after your long walks during the colder months to warm feet and paws as you relax in front of the Smart TV. Dish up doggy dinners in the kitchen area then prepare human feasts to enjoy up at the breakfast bar or around the fold-up table. Bid your furry friend good night then head through to either the king-size bedroom, which is at this level, or the double on the floor above, where the family bathroom is also situated. There is no outside space with this property but the Meadows Park is just 150 metres away.

Plan days out to dog-friendly destinations, such as the National Trust’s Felbrigg Hall, 2.5 miles away, where your paw-some pal is welcome to enjoy the extensive estate with you. Sheringham Park, 5.5 miles away, famously landscaped by Humphry Repton, is another beautiful outdoor location where you can follow footpaths with your delighted dog. Further afield, take your precious pet to enjoy the vast open space of the beach at wonderful Salthouse.

We had a fab few days staying at Rooks Roost, the location is perfect and comes with the added bonus of a parking spot. The flat comes with everything you need, we cooked a few nights and sat in with the lovely fire burning. The flat was clean comfortable and a real home from home. Thanks for sharing it with us x

Really lovely cosy seaside home in a great location. We especially loved the window seat and sitting watching the sea at breakfast. Well equipped home and super clean. We would definitely come back again and have already recommended the home to some friends.

The accommodation is in the perfect location for Cromer. Its great for exploring and the fact it has a parking space is a bonus. The outside and the communal entrance hall may put people off but once inside the apartment its presents well and has everything you need. Can be difficult for some with the two staircases leading up to it so this may bRead moree an issue for some. Its fabulous that it allows dogs.. The furniture is well thought out, and the beds are comfy and bedding is lovely as well as the towels. This is our 2nd stay here and we have had lovely holidays both times. It's lovely that the owner leaves biscuits and milk and dog treats for guests. Hide

We loved Rooks Roost. It's location was perfect and within walking distance of key attractions and amenities in Cromer. It was beautifully decorated and maintained which made it feel very homely and relaxing. It was a home from home and had everything we needed and more. Lovely accommodation, the host had thought of everything so it truly was a home from home! Lovely touches upon arrival such as crisps and cookies as well as skincare items to use! Lovely beds too so we all slept super well! Would definitely return!

As another reviewer commented, dont make a judgement of the hallway to the flat (this is the responsibility of the building manager rather than the Rooks Roosts owner). The flat itself is great and looks exactly like the pictures.
