Original beams and exposed granite walls greet you and your furry friends as you make your way inside this charming home. On arrival, you will be met with a country-style kitchen/diner, which is the house''s hub for peckish pups and hungry humans. Here, cook up delicious dinners and enjoy glasses of bubbles while your waggy-tailed tykes search for dropped morsels. The games room is a delightful place to keep an eye on the kids, while the outside provides ample space for everyone to spread out, including adventurous pooches who are sure to want to nap in the sunshine. The gorgeous lounge is perfect for a glass of wine in front of the fire or for family gatherings around a film with accompanying popcorn bowls. Let sleeping dogs lie somewhere comfortable as you head to bed, finding six spacious bedrooms upstairs.

Whilst some seasonal restrictions apply on the golden sands of Rock (3.5 miles), a short drive to Daymer Bay (5 miles) offers sparkling shores where contented canines are welcome all year round. Paddle in the sea, climb the rocks or build sandcastles before sitting down to a picnic and doggo treats. The 4-mile circular trail across the Iron Age hillfort of The Rumps begins at Penire Point (5 miles) and boasts panoramic views over the Camel Estuary, or travel down to the harbour town of Padstow (13 miles) to sample fish and chips, and winding cobbled streets.

Fantastic location and property. Only a short drive to Rock and other beaches in the area. Games room and huge garden were perfect for entertaining our children. Back garden was well dog proofed and perfect for our puppy. We loved our stay at the Mowhay and would highly recommend.
