With a dog-friendly beach less than half a mile away and the mighty Snowdonia National Park presenting plenty of opportunities for walkies close by, we could think of no better place for a pet-friendly trip than beautiful Barmouth. Situated on the ground floor of a Victorian property, this lovely apartment welcomes three guests and one small dog to spend some quality time relaxing together. With a light-flooded lounge and its own private courtyard, fully secure for even the most escape-prone pups, this lovely holiday let is a wonderful option for stays through the summer and winter months.
Set tails wagging as you step inside and take in the peaceful nature of this single-storey place. Put feet (and paws) up in the homely lounge. Here, you’ll find a cushy L-shaped sofa and a TV, so switch on your favourite show and prepare for a night in. Fido will likely want to position their bed right here or in the adjacent kitchen/diner, creating a cosy sleep spot in which to catch forty winks. As your pup dreams of chasing cats and fetching sticks, you can slink off to bed. There are two bedrooms, an attractive double and a snug single, along with a modern shower room on this floor. Finally, the courtyard with a bistro set is a superb spot to sit with a morning coffee whilst your doggo enjoys a breath of fresh air. The outdoor hose is ideal for a quick rinse after a walk with your dog or a day at the beach.
Barmouth Beach, one of southern Snowdonia’s most popular beaches, is less than half a mile from home. Although some restrictions do apply throughout summer months, this beach always offers a large expanse of dog-friendly sands where Rover can play freely. Beyond there, explore some wonderful walking routes including the short and sweet Panorama Walk (0.5 miles) or the mighty 9-mile Mawddach Trail (1 mile).
