Drink in more of that big blue panorama from the first floor’s large, tiled balcony where there’s a wrought-iron balustrade so you can enjoy alfresco dining with the harbour as your backdrop.
The path to Tenby’s North Beach is just below your holiday abode, but for all-year walks with the dogs, head 500 metres to South Beach which stretches for 1.5 miles and is backed by dunes. Known for its Victorian architecture, medieval castle walls and beautiful coastline, the historic town has a maze of narrow streets that are home to independent shops plus a range of bars and restaurants. If you want to really stretch your legs, follow the Pembrokeshire Coast Path 4.5 miles from Tenby to Saundersfoot and enjoy cliff-top paths, woodland and plenty of wildlife. Alternatively, cruise the coastline and its islands – Tenby Boat Trips welcome well-behaved dogs and will give you all a chance spot some of the local sea and bird life.
