This is our second stay, we stayed in 2024 but this time our stay was longer. The garden area has now changed, but for the better. Its now lawned instead of pebbled so our dog had great playtime. We had rabbits hopping in and out of the gRead morearden and watched the barn owl out hunting. If you are looking for a peaceful break away surrounded by wildlife and quiet then its perfect. Hide

This is our second time of staying at Paddy Waddle and has been a perfect stay both times. We have found it to be very clean and quiet. Beautiful walks, not far to local pubs. Biscuits, milk, tea, coffee and Prosecco. Everything you need for your doggie, bowls, towels, and a sink outside for a hose down after rolling in cow muck

Great location, well appointed and comfortable but not as clean as one would expect and parts inside are tired and in need of a fresh coat of paint here and there. Outside space wasnt what was advertised due to recent changes required by National Parks and limited our use.

We enjoyed our stay and the property has been nicely done. The only real issue was the rear of the property being open and not enclosed for the dog and currently being covered in soil for grass seed, we managed fine but others may require this for their dog(s). Overall this is a really nicely completed property and we enjoyed our stay. Lovely place. It's obvious a lot of thought and care has been put into into making it a really nice, comfortable place to stay which is also well set out so it felt really spacious for two with everything we needed and everything is really nice quality. We loved the log burner for a cosy stay over new year and the garden which was secure enough nRead moreot to have to worry too much about our little dog escaping (she loved it too and the place worked really well with her!). Nice views and outdoor areas to sit out when it's a bit less wintry. Prosecco, biscuits and milk etc. was much appreciated! Wifi worked great too, bed was comfy and the shower was lovely. Short or long walks right from the gate and not far from lots of other gorgeous villages. We had short drives out to Robin Hoods Bay and Whitby. There is a train station, pub and shop (though we didn't need to try the shop/pub) in the village too so it would be doable without a car if you were OK with walking a bit. We'd definitely stay again and recommend. The pet shop mentioned in the directions isn't obvious but if you search pet shops in Glaisdale on google maps it'll show the place and watch out for sat navs trying to take you down a little road through a farm that probably isn't passable if you're coming back in from trips out to the coast etc. There's a sign on the farm gate but it would be easy to miss, we just saw it in time - take the left fork back into Glaisdale instead!
