This large, well-presented family home is the ideal base for a group gathering on the fabulous Yorkshire coast. Set within the North York Moors National Park, enjoy easy access to the area’s stunning coastal scenery and the wonderful hospitality of popular Runswick Bay with one or two faithful friends by your side.

This spacious brick-built house is a welcoming sight after a day of discovery. Enter and feel instantly at home with warm neutral tones accented by pops of colour and plenty of space to relax and unwind. Put your feet up in the cosy living room on the plush sofa seating arranged around a roaring open fire that''s sure to be a hit with the hounds. Whip up a storm in the attractive, contemporary kitchen, then plan the next day''s activities in the spacious dining room with its large table and comfortable armchairs arranged next to a warming wood burner. Alternatively, dine alfresco on a summer''s evening and make the most of the patio, BBQ and garden furniture all hidden away down a secret garden path. At the end of the day, soak tired legs in the seaside-themed family bathroom, then head to bed in one of five good-sized bedrooms, one with its own en-suite shower, and all boasting attractive soft furnishings with inviting beds for weary heads.

Apart from at high tide, the glorious sands of Runswick Bay sweep south for just over a mile and are open for four-legged friends to explore year-round, 450 metres from your door. Alternatively, strike out along the Cleveland Way, a cliff-top path that will take you along some of the region’s spectacular coastal scenery towards Whitby, 5 miles away. With its atmospheric abbey towering over pretty cobbled streets and traditional working harbour, Whitby has long been a popular holiday hotspot. The town''s Tate Hill Beach welcomes excitable hounds year-round with no seasonal restrictions. After all that exercise, you and Fido will be in need of refreshment and Runswick Bay’s dog-friendly village pub can provide delicious local ales for some, and thirst-quenching water bowls for others.
