There’s an abundance of space for six guests and one dog to spread out in this fabulous coastal cottage, a real top dog destination on Wales’ Llyn Peninsula. The property is just 500 metres from the beach, creating the perfect daily dog walk for stretching your pup’s legs each morning. Elsewhere, discover the rugged seascapes and bright greenery of the Llyn Area of Outstanding Beauty, letting Fido lead the way to awe-inspiring beauty spots as you step out each day. The property itself is entirely spacious, allowing a pack of family or friends to relax in comfort on slow mornings and sociable evenings.
Furry friends are invited to stop off and give sandy fur and paws a good wipe in the stone porch before moving inside. Once indoors, the ground floor consists of a capacious lounge and a kitchen/diner next door, plenty of space for your pup to position their favourite bed and blanket to drift off. You’ll love switching on the wood burner effect fire when the weather outside is cold, putting feet (and paws) up with the Smart TV on. When the sun shines, however, the private, enclosed patio awaits you to sit and sip a drink with Rover running around. Back indoors, all three bedrooms are upstairs, neatly laid out alongside two bathrooms.
The golden sands of Abersoch Beach invite games of fetch on the sand, with some dog restrictions taking place on the northernmost part of the beach during the peak of summer. Take the incredible Wales Coast Path from here down to Porth Ceiriad (2.5 miles), another exceptional stretch of sand on the peninsula’s edge. This sandy shore is pet-friendly year-round, inviting pets and people with equal enthusiasm. In search of a relaxing afternoon out, head up the coast to the seaside resort town of Pwllheli (7 miles).
