This gorgeous two-storey cottage is bright and welcoming, with clean white walls and fresh, colourful contemporary decor and furniture. Leave your worries at the door of this lovely home-from-home. The living room is adjacent to the kitchen and is the perfect place for you and your hound to unwind after a busy day of exploring. Lots of natural light enters the living room through the French doors and the plush sofas, the coal-effect electric fire and the Smart TV create an ideal space for lazy evenings. Upstairs, you will find three bedrooms - one king-size, one twin and one single - as well as a modern family bathroom. French doors in the living room open onto a spacious patio with garden furniture, where you can enjoy an al fresco dinner in warm weather. The patio space backs onto a shared lawn.

Explore the surrounding area, starting with a walk to the bustling town of Porthmadog (1 mile) where you can access the Wales Coast Path, or take a tail-wagging ride on the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway (1.5 miles). The Natural Trust Dinas Emrys Trail (10 miles) and Lon Gwyrfai (15 miles) are both perfect destinations for four paws to sniff out adventures in a variety of landscapes while you enjoy fantastic views of waterfalls and valleys. What a lovely house! Friendly local neighbours, great views and very well equipped for home cooking. Borth-Y-Gest was the best place to stay for the beaches hidden around the corner in some coves and 15 minute walk into Porthmadog! Best beach was Harlech beach for us. Massive and so quiet and great waves for body bording! A train ride too is a mustRead more! Thank you North Wales, we will be back! Hide

A lovely touch was a treat tray of welsh goodies, tea bags and milk in the fridge on our arrival. We are hoping to return soon! Hide
