Enjoy a home-from-home welcome in this tranquil cottage, perfect for families, friends and four-pawed companions. Adventures in delightful countryside and huge runs on fabulous beaches are bound to get tails wagging, and you’re also close to a variety of historic attractions as well as shops, pubs and places to eat.
When your dogs lead you into this tranquil property, you’ll find rustic charm in abundance. The open-plan living space is centred around a wood burner, a great addition to cosy winter evenings together. There’s a TV, a DVD player, a CD player and a radio for entertainment too. Cook up delicious meals in the kitchen, in which there’s plenty of cupboard space and all the mod cons you could want, and enjoy them at the dining table by the window, taking in the glorious views. For quiet times, you might want to retreat to the snug and its open fire, where you can enjoy a good book with your hounds snoozing by your feet. One of the two double bedrooms is on the ground floor, along with the quaint family bathroom, while the remaining two bedrooms, a double and a twin, are on the first floor. The huge, safely enclosed garden is a fabulous place for your mutts to run around to their hearts’ content, and you can sit alfresco and delight in fresh-air breakfasts or suppers as the sun goes down.
The cottage is located in a quiet, rural area, surrounded by mountains and just 2.5 miles from the coast. From here, you can set off on days out to rugged coast paths, golden beaches, beautiful inland walks and a plethora of historic and cultural attractions. The village of Bruckless, 1.5 miles away, has a selection of shops, pubs and places to eat, while lively Killybegs is just 6 miles away.
