Completing the ground floor is a separate utility room – the ideal spot for Rover and Fido to set up camp. Upstairs, you’ll find two bright and airy bedrooms and a contemporary family bathroom. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge and a camp bed is available on request. Outside, the walled garden has ample space for your canine chums to burn off steam, as well as pretty spots for al fresco dining. The property offers private parking.
Head into Fethard to potter amongst its historic streets. You and your four-pawed sidekicks can join one of the town trails to explore the local points of interest, or enjoy a relaxing stroll along the riverbanks. After a walk, refuel in one of the town’s many pubs or restaurants. Other nearby walking routes include Slievenamon Mountain (2 miles), with its panoramic views, and the shady woodland trails at Millennium Forest (24 miles). The vibrant city of Kilkenny makes a great day out, and is 28 miles from the cottage.
