After a long coastal walk, return to your cosy cottage to unwind in the inviting lounge, where an open fire awaits to warm toes and paws on chilly nights. The kitchen/diner has ample space for the hound to set up camp, as well as all the equipment needed to rustle up hearty meals for the group. A large table provides the perfect spot for family gatherings at the end of a busy day. Upstairs, you’ll find a relaxing double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and a second bedroom with three single beds. A family bathroom completes the accommodation. Outside, there’s a large, gravel garden/parking area with views across the water and a picnic bench for al fresco dining. This area is fully enclosed for your four-pawed pal. The cottage overlooks the owner’s campsite and during summer months guests will have access to additional facilities including a coffee dock, food van, and music nights. There is private parking available for two cars.
There are some gorgeous walks to explore around Bannow Bay, including the Bannow Bay Trail which takes in the fascinating ruins of Tintern Abbey. You’ll also find wild and remote walking routes around the Hook Peninsula. For a remote beach walk, journey to Ballyteige Burrow (10 miles), where Rover can scamper along the shoreline and follow the nature trails through the dunes. For shopping and eating out, the medieval town of New Ross is 16 miles away.
