Explore the undulating hills of County Kerry with your faithful friend by your side when you stay at this delightful rural retreat at Staigue. Situated 5.5 miles from Caherdaniel and just 2 miles from the dog-friendly beach of Castlecove, there is something here for all members of your party, including those with four legs, to enjoy. Sleeping four human guests, this two-bedroom cottage is perfect for space-seeking couples or small families, and benefits from lawned gardens where your pet can bound and play.

Call your delighted dog to join you at the porch, then dry his paws and make your way inside. At the heart of this inviting Irish holiday home is a long, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with a wooden ceiling and plenty of space for both pups and people. Light the wood burner in here on chilly days to bring a cosy glow to the space. Give your contented canine plenty of puppy love as he stretches out on the rug and you settle down in front of the TV. Find everything you need to help you cook up a feast in the kitchen area. Feed your four-pawed pal here too then serve up to everyone else at the farmhouse table. A useful utility room and a WC are also at this level. Bid your sleepy pet good night and climb the stairs at the end of each exciting day away. Up here you will find a double bedroom, a twin and a family bathroom. Carry breakfast, lunch and dinner out into the fresh air and sunshine on fine days. Watch your happy hound bound about the grass as the sun goes down over the hills. Ample private parking is also available.

Discover a myriad of countryside and coastal walks from the cottage. Stroll off to see the ruins of the ringed Staigue Fort, just over 1 mile from your base.

A very comfortable cottage, though a bit more remote than expected. Very clean, well maintained. Lovely views in good weather! Could have done with better directions to the property and operational instructions.
