Ideal for couples and small families, this charming holiday cottage is situated in the heart of a Holy Island village, surrounded by scenic walking trails, dog-friendly beaches, cosy pubs and independent shops. Inside, discover stylish open-plan living complete with a roaring wood burner, and outside, make the most of the private garden with ball games with Rover and al fresco dining moments.
Step into the lounge/kitchen/diner, where large windows at the front and rear fill the space with natural light. Relax on the comfortable sofa or the rocking chair while your canine companion snoozes in front of the wood burner, and enjoy movie nights on the Smart TV. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious meals, while the dining area offers ample seating for everyone. In the warmer months, open the French doors to let Fido come and go. Upstairs, you''ll find two inviting bedrooms. The first has a large south-facing window, a double sleigh bed and a feature fireplace, while the tranquil twin bedroom overlooks the rear garden. The gleaming family bathroom, with underfloor heating, completes the interior. Outside, the rear garden is fully enclosed so your four-pawed pal can safely explore. Start your day with a morning coffee or end it with an evening tipple using the garden furniture provided.
The island boasts four stunning, sandy beaches, and, as with everywhere else on the island, dogs on the lead can join you year-round. The closest beach is 200 meters away, where you might even spot a grey seal or dolphin. Explore the historic Lindisfarne Priory or stroll to the charming harbour and visit the 16th-century Lindisfarne Castle, both half a mile away. Back on the mainland, venture to Berwick-upon-Tweed, England’s northernmost town (13 miles), or visit Bamburgh Castle, beach, and village (16 miles).
