This Victorian house is the epitome of modern classic style and makes a wonderful getaway for couples, friends and families, plus a small canine companion. In the heart of iconic Tenby, it’s perfectly placed for beach days, eating out and a spot of retail therapy.

Beautifully mixing old and new over four floors, this luxurious home has been meticulously designed and decorated throughout. The ground-floor kitchen boasts Shaker-style cabinetry, leading into a spacious dining room, and the cosy snug is a wonderful space in which to gather, furry friend snoozing by your feet. Alternatively, humans can head up the stairs to the elegant main lounge on the first floor. The first of two bathrooms, traditionally styled with a roll-top bath, is on this floor, while a more modern bathroom can be found on the second floor, along with a king-size bedroom. On the third floor you’ll find another king-size bedroom, this one boasting an en-suite WC, as well as a triple bedroom. Finally, find a chill-out zone on the fourth floor: tucked under the sloping eaves with bean bag chairs, Smart TV and PS4 console. Outside, the cute courtyard has dining furniture for four, a gas BBQ and a handy tap for rinsing muddy paws or sandy feet.

Tenby is renowned for its three gorgeous beaches, all dog-friendly for most of the year, with South Beach the place to go for walkies in the summer months. Plenty of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants are welcoming for pups, and at night you could try a fascinating ghost walk around the cobbled streets of the walled town. A great way to work off some energy (for children and hounds) is a trip to Heatherton World of Activities, 3.5 miles, where there’s even a dog agility course for your mutt to try.

A wonderful and incredibly spacious home right next to the Town Centre and the beach. It was equipped with everything you could ever want and more. The games room on the top is a great addition and we would love to go back again.
