This peaceful cottage retreat in the picturesque Llyn Peninsula is ideal for a couple, a family or a small group of friends to take a relaxing holiday with their pet. You’ll be 1 mile from the centre of Abersoch, a village resort with dog-friendly pubs and a great beach that your pup will go mutts for. There’s space for up to four humans and one canine guest at this attractive property, which also has a decked roof terrace where you can admire the sunset together.
On the ground floor of this quirky accommodation, you’ll find a lovely open-plan living area with underfloor heating to keep everybody toasty. The kitchen has a striking colour scheme, as well as all the necessary tools to make delicious meals (and prepare bowls of dog biscuits). The bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite bathroom, are located on the lower ground floor, as is the main bathroom. A door from the kitchen leads out to the roof terrace, a sun trap which is equipped with a stylish furniture for al fresco dining. On warm evenings, you can pour yourself a glass of something delicious and kick back with your pets stretched out on the decking nearby.
You’ll be on the edge of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so expect mile upon mile of pretty trails and sandy beaches that are the stuff of dreams for pups. The beach at Abersoch is lined with quaint beach huts that offer great holiday photo opportunities. In fine weather, grab the ball launcher and follow the Wales Coast Path from Abersoch to Machroes (1.5 miles) or Llanbedrog (3.5 miles).
