Enjoy long walks along the South West Coast Path with your best canine friend then return with him to this inviting holiday home in Swanage. Sleeping six guests, the two-bedroom, dog-friendly hideaway nestles just 350 metres from the long-distance footpath that captures the spectacular scenery of the Jurassic Coast. With a courtyard garden to relax in on bright afternoons, the bolthole could be ideal for families or couples with a happy hound in their group.

Open the door to the reverse-level holiday home and climb the stairs up to the first floor with your chum following close behind. Emerge in an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where he can relax and enjoy the warmth of the underfloor heating, while you set about preparing the fresh produce you have bought in town for dinner. Feed your four-legged friend in the kitchen area and serve everyone else at the breakfast bar. Open the doors to the courtyard garden on fine days or settle down in front of the TV during the evening. There is a sofa bed in here that can be used for two guests by prior arrangement. Head back down to the ground floor to find two double bedrooms, one with a small double bed and an en-suite shower room. There is also a family bathroom down here, with Jack and Jill access between the hall and the other bedroom. Whizz any doggy towels through the washing machine and tumble dryer at the side of the holiday retreat. Dine out in the courtyard garden, enjoying the sea air with your waggy-tailed friend, as often as possible. There is parking for one car here.

Swanage is home to a host of lovely independent shops, pubs and restaurants, all with the wonderful coastline as the backdrop. Walk less than 1 mile to take your delighted dog for a walk in Durlston Country Park, or venture 5 miles to the beautiful, dog-friendly beach at Studland Bay for fantastic days out in the fresh sea air.

Such a beautiful house everything was thought of and the Easter egg and milk and prosecco left was such a lovely touch! All rooms were absolutely spotless, we will definitely be back!

What a superb little house this is, beautifully equipped and exceedingly clean. We had an excellent stay with friends and the two double bedrooms were very comfortable. The walk to and from town was not too far and the hills will keep you fit!! Our dogs loved their morning walk to the park each day! The driveway was very small (as stated in the prRead moreoperty information) and our car was too big to fit, but there is plenty of roadside parking nearby so this was not an issue. Hide

Excellent and unique property on a steep hill in Swanage. A high standard of equipment and furnishings kept in good order and spotlessly clean. Our cat loved it too, and she found a great vantage point on the ledge overlooking the stairs. A short walk to the centre of Swanage down the hill and you find great places to eat or sample excellent cake aRead morend coffee. Alternatively a 20 min. walk up the hill an you'll find a country park with view to sea over the cliffs. Hide

Netton House is beautiful, well-equipped and very comfortable. Fab location, close to Swanage beach, shops, restaurants and amenities. We would love to return.

The property is lovely but the second bedroom has nowhere to put anything. It would have been better without the en-suite to make wardrobe/drawer space. Lovely to be able to walk into town but Id forgotten how hilly Swanage is!

Lack of some basic equipment- sharp knives, large glasses, cheese grater, tea pot. Apart from that very appreciative of the comfort , pleasant touches from owner ie Prosecco and some useful provisions.
