Soak up the serenity and the sunshine with your very contented canine when you stay at this single-storey former barn at Mayon, 0.5 miles from Sennen, in West Cornwall. Sleeping four guests, the beautiful two-bedroom bolthole is one of several holiday homes in this secluded spot and enjoys an enviable corner position with far-reaching rural views and a private, wrap-around garden that Rover will adore.
Clean off muddy paws at the front door then head inside the holiday home to pop your chum’s towel into the washer/dryer and to make everyone else a nice cup of tea. Feed your famished four-legged friend a well-earned feast, then prepare something tasty for the rest of your party to sit down to in the lounge/diner. In this welcoming space, there is a wood burner to relax in front and watch the Smart TV while your exhausted canine pal settles down for a snooze. When tiredness gets the better of you too, wander through to the double bedroom, with en-suite shower room, or the king-size bedroom. There is also a family bathroom here. Spend some sunny afternoons just unwinding out in the garden – which has a decked area - while your furry friend enjoys exploring. Dine out here too or treat yourselves to a glass of wine as the sun sets.
Stroll 1.5 miles from the property to reach Gwynver Beach, which is a great choice all year round for beachgoers with pets in tow. This beauty spot has white sand for playing fetch on and offers spectacular views. Nanjizal Beach, 4 miles away by car, also welcomes dogs at any time, and is a pretty cove, with unusually clear waters where you can paddle. Pick up the South West Coast Path 500 metres from the property and follow it out in either direction with your happy hound.
