Property code: OC-SDCROW

A chic coastal hideaway nestled in a leafy residential neighbourhood of Brixham and ideally situated for exploring the South Devon Coast. This stylishly designed retreat is wonderful for young families or couples seeking a seaside escape with their furry companions. Get noses twitching with a scamper through the Sharkham Point Nature Reserve (1.5 miles) and spot the seabirds swooping. After a day of exploring, stretch weary paws on the patio enveloped by rolling country vistas.

This elevated property boasts a contemporary interior with elegant neutral tones, plush soft furnishings, and subtle nautical design details. Ascend the sloping driveway and brush off sandy paws before stepping into the hallway. Venture into the sleek lounge and admire the glistening sea views from the magnificent picture windows. Sink onto the sofas with a tipple or curl up with a film while Fido snoozes on the deep pile carpet. Pad into the airy kitchen/diner and rustle up a post-adventure feast for the pack. Fold out the dining table for your evening feast or prop open the patio doors to dine al fresco with the setting sun. Rest up in the bright king styled with crisp coastal linens or the sunny twin. Outdoors, the sprawling three-tiered garden overlooking the horse paddock is sure to get tails wagging. Indulge in a morning coffee from the patio, gear up for zoomies on the grassy lawn, or toast a late-night sweet treat over the fire pit on the upper level.

Crash through waves and sniff out the pebbly shoreline of Shoalstone Beach (2 miles) before unwinding on the waterfront bistro terrace while the humans indulge in a seafood lunch. Adventurous pups can dive into the local maritime history aboard the Golden Hind Museum Ship (1.5 miles) or glide through the countryside on the Dartmouth Steam Railway (5 miles).

In the months of May through to November why not attend one of the many events and festivals in the area like the Brixham Pirate Festival, England's Seafood Feast, Lanterns lights & 'luminations, Dartmouth Music Festival, Dartmouth Royal Regatta, Dartmouth Food Festival, Torbay Air Show, Teignmouth Air show, Devon County Show.

A lovely place to stay in sunny Brixham. Fantastic views from the picture windows, a fully enclosed rear area, just right for our little dog.

This house was generally well equipped with comfortable beds & lovely towels. Good kitchen equipment but could do with all essentials ,though could do with a smaller casserole &/or microwavable bowl. The house is about a mile & a half from the harbour & the road quite narrow. The garden was tidy though the lawn quite steep, so not for ball games!Read more There are 20-30 steps to the entrance of the bungalow. For us the main negative issue was the very uncomfortable sofa in the lounge, though the armchairs were fine. Hide
