Bring together friends, families, and furry companions in this rural holiday home, just 5 miles from the Peak District National Park. The impressive former coach house sleeps 18 guests and three hounds across a series of luxurious apartment. With vast social spaces and a huge outdoor area, it’s the perfect base for family reunions and get-togethers with friends. Nearby family and woof-friendly attractions include Crich Tramway Village, Carsington Water, and The Heights of Abraham (all within 10 miles).

The impressive six-bedroom complex comprises four individual apartments arranged around a central courtyard. Enter the property into a large lounge/diner, with dual-aspect windows, ample comfortable seating, space for the dog beds, and a huge dining table for hosting dinner parties. An impressive, commercial-style kitchen has everything you need to cater on a large scale. The first self-contained apartment is downstairs, and has a king-size bedroom and a triple bedroom, as well as a shower room. The second apartment is accessed via steps and comprises a lounge/diner, kitchen, a family bedroom, and a bathroom. Stairs also lead to the third apartment, which has a kitchen/diner, a lounge, double bedroom, family bedroom, and a bathroom. The fourth apartment is on the first floor and features a lounge/diner, kitchen, king-size bedroom, and bathroom. Outside, relax in the sunshine on the picnic benches in the courtyard. There is additional bench seating for relaxing amongst the olive trees, and a large, grassed area for the woofers to burn off steam.

Carsington Water (8.5 miles) makes a great family and doggy day out. Here, you’ll find three gorgeous waymarked walking trails, picturesque picnic spots, and truly jaw-dropping scenery. It’s also a popular sport for paddleboarding and fishing. Alternatively, head to Chatsworth House (14.5 miles), where you and your furry friends can explore the historic gardens and 1000-acre parkland.

Fantastic accommodation Very clean everywhere. Plenty of parking at front. Great set up we all had small Apartments and could meet up in the communal areas. I have never seen a holiday let with so much equipment- we never ran out Of crockery or cutlery. The host was next door and very approachable if we had any queries. Would definitely recommendRead more to larger groups of people. 5* pub right next door and you could walk from the accommodation to Matlock etc. Hide

Lovely property, very well equipped. Owners very helpful. Beautiful area and nice pub walking distance as well as Lea Gardens cafe for amazing g cakes! We had a really nice girls break.

The accommodation was lovely. Much better than I was expecting. Everything was in lovely condition and very clean. The outside space was great for the children to play- ages ranged from 9 to nearly 4. The fact that there were separate self contained units meant that adults/kids could escape for a bit of quiet if they wanted to. Great house. Loads of space and perfect for our group size. Lovely garden and courtyard area. Really enjoyed our stay. Only minor point - blinds are thin so in the summer it is quite bright early in the morning!
