The former Methodist chapel has been cleverly converted to create a spacious holiday home, full of contemporary design and quirky accessories. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is flooded with natural light and has an impressive, double-height ceiling. Enjoy informal meals at the breakfast bar or gather around the dining table for dinner parties and celebrations. At the opposite end, there’s a cosy lounge area where you can unwind after a long dog walk. There is also a separate snug, providing a quiet space for you and the hound to hang out. Completing the ground floor is a double bedroom and a stylish bathroom. An industrial-style staircase leads to the first floor, where you’ll find the remaining three bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room. Outside, sip a morning coffee on the bench, whilst the woofer stretches their legs.
Scarborough is a vibrant town, with a great selection of paw-friendly shops and eateries. Right in the town’s centre, you’ll find the gorgeous Peasholm Park, where you and Fido can ride a boat across the lake or hop on the heritage steam train. Overlooking the town is Scarborough Castle, which is a great spot for a picnic with your hairy sidekick, followed by a wander around the fascinating ruins. If you’re looking for a beach that welcomes four-legged visitors all year, head 3 miles along the coast to the stunning Cayton Bay.
