Set in the heart of Whitby, this historic home is perfect for two couples or a group of friends and their beloved canine companion to embrace the town's vibrant seaside atmosphere. Enjoy many wonderful original features and a south-facing patio garden at this memorable coastal escape.

Step into this three-story cottage and be greeted by its old-world charm. The open-plan living area features a snug lounge with an exposed brick ornamental fireplace and wooden beams overhead. At the opposite end, a practical kitchen with a breakfast bar invites culinary endeavours, fully equipped for a self-catering holiday. Climb the steep stairs to the first floor, unveiling a delightful double bedroom embellished with wood-panelled walls, a cast iron fireplace, and a beamed ceiling. Here, the stylish shower room awaits, boasting a double walk-in shower. Journey to the top floor via the second set of stairs, guided by rope handrails. Discover an attractive dormer bedroom with twin beds tucked under the sloping eaves of the roof. This room has no door between the stairs and the bedroom, so is unsuitable for young children. Outside, the cottage boasts a semi-enclosed sun-soaked south-facing patio garden at its front with garden furniture for al fresco dining with Fido by your side.

Whitby's pretty streets are woven with charming shops, inviting pubs, and tempting eateries, many of which warmly welcome furry friends through their doors. The sandy beach, 250 metres away, beckons you to bask in the sun or ride the waves on surfing and paddleboarding adventures. Excluding the section of beach from the West Pier to the east side of the beach steps, four-pawed pals are welcome to frolic in the shoreline year-round. Embark on walkies to get tails wagging and explore The Cinder Track, a scenic off-road trail traversing the town and stretching through the North York Moors National Park. For history hounds, Whitby Abbey's ruins and the Captain Cook Memorial Museum are compelling choices.
