Stay at this attractive bungalow in the charming Georgian town of Holt for a relaxing trip in Norfolk. Holt is perched on the edge of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where you can explore mile after mile of sand dunes, wooded trails and coastal marshes with your pets leading the way. Come evening, settle back into your spacious holiday property and enjoy a home-cooked meal followed by a nightcap in a local dog-friendly pub (0.5 miles). This accommodation has space for up to four humans and three canines, so is just right for a small family or two couples holidaying together.
The interior is roomy and immaculately presented, from the generously sized kitchen to the king-size bedrooms. The large lounge has comfy sofas for humans to lounge on (and plenty of carpet space for the dogs). Its dual-aspect windows make it a lovely and airy space. The pretty garden, complete with a pond, established plants and plenty of furniture, is a gorgeous spot for sizzling up a tasty BBQ for a fresh-air feast – those yummy smells will soon set furry tails wagging!
Holt Country Park (1.5 miles) is an excellent spot for some good old-fashioned stick throwing, with its tranquil woodland, dominated by gorgeous Scots pines. Fancy some sea air? You’re in luck – your nearest beach at Salthouse (4.5 miles) is free of dog restrictions, so your pets can run free to their hearts’ content. Or head to the railway station (0.5 miles) and take your pets on a steam train to Sheringham (6.5 miles). At this traditional seaside town, you can look forward to some yummy fish and chips and wander around the quirky independent shops before catching the train back again.
