Occupying the top two floors of a charming townhouse in a quiet area of this holiday hot spot, this relaxing apartment is versatile, suiting one or two couples or a small family – plus that all-important VIP (very important pup). Characterful period features fuse with stylish modern design for a really comfortable stay. The house’s elevated position affords great sea and town views. Best of all, you’re within 0.5 miles of shops, galleries, beaches and eateries – perfect for a stress-free holiday.

A short flight of steps leads to the entrance of a traditional townhouse, with one more flight inside up to this deluxe apartment. The gorgeous views greet you in the light and airy open-plan lounge/diner with a sumptuous sofa, wooden floor (great with a dog in tow!), ornamental fireplace and a large bay window. A dining table for four sits to the side, with room underneath for man’s best friend, naturally. A well-equipped kitchen with exposed stone walls is compact but serves your self-catering endeavours. Versatile sleeping quarters comprise one charming twin bedroom on the first floor, with the wonderful master double bedroom up again on the second floor, with exposed beams and sloping ceilings. There’s a south-facing decked terrace to the front, surrounded by greenery with seating and a BBQ.

Explore the cobbled street of St Ives and enjoy its arty vibe – with numerous galleries including an outpost of the Tate and Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, preserved as it was in the 1970s. St Ives also offers four main golden swathes of beach: Porthmeor, Porthgwidden, Harbour and Porthminster. Seasonal dog restrictions apply to these, but the small tidal Bamaluz Beach welcomes woofers all year with open paws!

We loved our stay. The property has sensational views, and is excellently located for all beaches. It is stylishly decorated and comfortable and warm.

A beautiful flat in a great location, a short walk to the town and harbour side. The flat is clean, well furnished and spacious. The sea view was an added bonus. We would stay here again.

Superb location but if anybody has a mobility problem the route down to and from the town is quite a climb.

It is a really nice cottage with a lot of space. The best is the view from the livingroom.

Very clean and comfortable apartment in an excellent location, quiet but so close to town and the beaches. Main issue was the confusion over the lack of a parking space which meant one had to park in a long stay car park a third of a mile away. This posed problems when returning from a day out as there were not always spaces available but you had aRead morelready paid for a week's parking. Hide
