This single storey coastal retreat is the perfect place to stay for a slice of seaside life, less than 300 metres from Walcott beach. It’s ideal for up to two hounds and their couple/small family companions. It has an amazing, landscaped garden, which is fully fenced and enclosed, with a hot tub, a summer house, a BBQ, and a patio for spending relaxing days in the sunshine.
There’s a laidback seaside vibe throughout the house and a lovely, spacious living/dining room to kick back in after a day on the beach, with a TV, a DVD player, and a Bluetooth stereo for entertainment. There are two attractive bedrooms, a double and a single, and a sleek modern shower room. Canines, kids, and big kids will love the garden. Relax in your own private hot tub or in the summer house while Rover has a ball playing on the lawn. Cook dinner for everyone on the BBQ then head to the front bench to watch the sun go down on a fantastic day.
Take Rover and Rosie for walkies and a paddle on Walcott’s huge sandy beach, stop for a swim or to build sandcastles. One part of the beach is dog friendly (Ostend) all year round so your hounds might meet some doggy playmates. Walk to the pretty village of Happisburgh along the beach, where you’ll see its famous red and white lighthouse, then come back through the countryside. The bungalow is close to the centre of the village where you’ll find a shop, a dog-friendly pub, an ice cream parlour, and a fish and chip shop. To set tails wagging visit the doggy diner at Cromer (12 miles), wander the beach at Sea Palling (7.5 miles) or go seal spotting at Horsey Gap (10 miles).
