Boasting a fetching contemporary, coastal theme, it would be hard to find a more perfectly placed, romantic bolthole to explore everything Carmarthenshire has to offer with your four-pawed third wheel.
After a long walk around your surroundings, fire up the gorgeous wood burner in the cosy, coastal-themed living room and cuddle up on the comfortable sofa as your top dog takes a doze on the rug reserved for them beside the hearth. Leave your four-legged friend to snooze and lead the way down a few steps to the kitchen/diner to get creative with all the local produce you’ve collected, and enjoy dining long into the evening around the romantic dining set. As day turns to dusk, follow your pup upstairs to the impressive bedroom beneath the eaves and ‘paws’ for a moment to admire stunning views across the estuary to Llansteffan Castle from the picture window before tucking yourself into the double bed to dream of tomorrow’s adventure. Outside, there’s a small courtyard perfect for little paws to rest whilst you soak up the last of the day’s sunshine.
Lying at the centre of the Carmarthen Bay coastline on the estuary of the River Towy, you’ll go mutts exploring the village of Ferryside and all the wonderful surrounding scenery it has to offer. Take the lead to the clifftops and join up with the Wales Coast Path to find some epic sticks to fetch whilst you admire superb views of the coastal strip across Carmarthen Bay (10 miles) to Llansteffan village (17 miles). Made up of a long strip of golden sand mixed with tidal marshes, treat your pup to an afternoon bounding through the waves and along the shoreline at Ferryside Beach before exercising playful pups around its magnificent dune landscape.
