Pretty Market Weighton (5 miles) has a lovely waterside walk by the canal and leads to the market town of Beverley (17 miles). Renowned for its Gothic Minster and Georgian town houses, the town has doggy walks along the Beverley Beck and on the Westwood open pasture. You and your pet can view historic York (18.5 miles) from the water, on a dog-friendly boat cruise down the River Ouse.
