An elegant coastal townhouse overlooking the whitewashed houses scattering the hillside of Brixham. This delightful coastal escape is ideal for families or small groups of friends accompanied by a couple of tufty-pawed pals. Drink in the breathtaking ocean vistas with a scamper through the rugged landscape of Berry Head (2 miles), before chomping a post-adventure chew on the pebbled garden while the humans toast with a sparkling sundowner.

This upside-down property features a breezy seaside interior with crisp neutral hues, wrap-around pictures windows, and beachy wicker textures. Unclip harnesses and brush off sandy paws in the hallway before stepping along the heated flooring to the enticing sleeping areas. Choose between an airy twin and a sunny en-suite king with private garden access or continue upstairs to find a sleek double. Stepping up, discover the open kitchen/diner flooded with natural light. Rustle up a selection of pre-dinner drinks in the spacious shaker kitchen while your furry shadow trots by your feet. Adorn the glass dining table with a tempting spread then settle in for a celebratory evening supper. Retire to the spacious lounge styled with vibrant fuchsia tones. Peer through the telescope and observe the fisherman’s boats gliding in the harbour or settle in with a film while Fido snoozes on the rug. Bask in the evening sun from the bench or pad through the courtyard to sniff out the hidden Pirates Cave.

Budding historians and curious canines alike are sure to be capitated by the historic maritime wonders of the Golden Hind Ship (500 metres). Feel the wind in your fur with a blustery amble along the South West Coast Path to the shingly shores of Churston Cove (1 mile) then refuel with al fresco frothy coffee and meaty treats perched in the cafe atop Berry Head (1.5 miles).

Great value, lovely views, spacious property, well equipped & very near to everything. Lots of steps down to town if you go right, but go left down the hill, no steps & we found a delightful cafe called The Larder open from 8am for a really great breakfast! We loved our stay at Pirates View and hope to return in the future

It's a beautiful property, great position, only a couple of minutes from the main street in town. Please do note that the route down is very steep, if you use the steps.

Cottage is absolutely top quality. Nothing to improve. Everything was thought of. Finished to a very high spec. The house is completely designed correct as an upside down house, so you can take full advantage of the most spectacular views.

We really enjoyed our week at pirates view. The property is quirky and comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped. Brixham is very hilly and the walk back up is quite hard especially for those with young children or people who may have mobility issues.

Fabulous property, great views, very clean, comfortable, spacious with all you need- though espresso pod wise - none of the supermarkets in Brixham itself sell the right ones!!

Pirates View has fantastic views over Brixham town and the harbour. Its elevated, so is accessible by many steep steps or a steep slope; I therefore wouldnt recommend to the less mobile - we loved the exercise though. Parking is an issue, as its limited and the streets are very narrow, but besides that everything else was excellent. The house is mRead moreodern and styled nicely with all mod cons and the owners are very friendly and accommodating. Brixham is a friendly fishing town with nice dog welcoming restaurants and pubs. The coastal walks are beautiful, very hilly if you want to venture down to the coves, but well worth it. Salcombe and Dartmouth are worth visiting. Use the ferry to cross the estuary as the journey round is long and slow. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pirates View and would recommend it to most people wanting to visit Brixham. Hide
