Behind the red-brick walls of this traditional village bungalow are on-trend rooms bathed in natural light. All the family will enjoy a laid-back break here, with countryside walks on the doorstep and a pup-friendly beach just a couple of miles away.

Prepare for a surprise as you step through the entrance porch – this fabulous three-bedroomed bungalow has been refurbished to a high standard to create the coolest of holiday hideaways. A peaceful colour palette, comfortable sofas and striking wood burner set the scene for companionable get-togethers in the open-plan living/dining room, where Fido can settle while his humans stretch out in front of the Smart TV. Enjoy good food and conversation around the dining table, which is close to a bright kitchen complete with all the chef’s essentials and glorious garden views. Two spacious bedrooms are perfect for sleepy heads; choose between a super-king-size room, and a king-size.  There’s a modern family bathroom and an additional cloakroom to add home-from-home convenience to your stay. The large, enclosed garden here is accessed from the side of the property or through the kitchen and has both a lawn and patio area, plus a gate into fields that Fido can sniff out.

The popular village pub, restaurant and store are within a mile, and there’s a choice of countryside and coastal walks to enjoy too, including the Peddars Way and Norfolk Coast Path. Pet-friendly all year, the beach at Old Hunstanton (3 miles) comes highly recommended, and neighbouring Hunstanton is the only resort town on this coast to face west, making it ideal for strolls at sunset. For a change of terrain, Sandringham is just 9.5 miles away and has nearly 243 acres of parkland for pups to explore, or you could head to upmarket Burnham Market (10 miles), famous for its trendy boutiques and eateries.

Lovely peaceful location, cottage was very comfortable especially the beds. Slight issue when we arrived that the heating wasn't on and we couldn't get it to work, no phone number for owner provided, so we had to call original cottages who were very helpful & sorted the issue quickly. Overall a lovely holiday.

We enjoyed our holiday in the village of Ringstead and the spacious bungalow Journey's End, which is situated in a quiet and peaceful location. The garden is a good size, well kept and was great for our little dog to explore. We were thrilled to see two Little Owls who visited the garden each evening. This is an ideal base for visiting West and NorRead moreth Norfolk and there are lovely beaches and attractions close by. Hide

Lovely cottage, we had a few small issues on arrival which were reported to the owner, otherwise we absolutely loved our stay and the location is perfect.
