Located in the grounds of a country house, this beautifully converted hayloft offers a peaceful, rural retreat for families and friends looking to explore the Norfolk Broads and surrounds. Sleeping four guests and a pair of canine companions, this stylish two-bedroom abode has access to two courtyard gardens and lots of fabulous dog-walking countryside. Beach-loving pups and their owners will be delighted to learn that the sandy beaches of the Norfolk coast are just 6.5 miles away.

Unload pups, people and provisions, and step inside to find a bright, modern space with everything you and your pack need for a comfortable stay. Containing a stunning double range oven, the light and fresh kitchen is a dream to prepare meals in. With a breakfast table in the kitchen, an adjoining dining room, and outdoor dining in the front and rear courtyards, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to mealtimes. Upstairs, a stylish, contemporary lounge invites restful afternoons curled up with a good book or cosy evenings watching a film together, your pups snoozing by the wood burner. Along the hallway, two elegant and spacious bedrooms ensure a tranquil night’s sleep, while a chic bathroom leaves you fresh and ready with a new leash of life in the morning.

Let the pups sniff out adventure as you wander to the little town of Dilham, where a historic pub offers tasty treats for all. You’ll find some superb walks from here, too, including the Weavers Way, a long-distance trail running between Cromer and Great Yarmouth, and picturesque river walks. With over 125 miles of waterways, the Norfolk Broads offers an abundance of walking and cycling routes, boat trips and wildlife watching.

What a lovely space. 2 comfortable bedrooms,spacious lounge, excellent power shower and good size bath. Kitchen was well equipped.

Beautifully appointed cottage giving a warm homely feel. Fantastic walks from the door into the countryside. Keith is very welcoming and has a great knowledge of the area. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't think twice about revisiting.

The Hayloft was a great find and comfortably accommodated my husband and I along with our springer spaniel. The owner was there on our arrival to make sure we were happy with everything and also showed us round the beautiful gardens. The property had everything you could possibly need for a weeks stay whether you wished to spend time in and arounRead mored the house and gardens or venture further afield to one of the owners recommended destinations: beaches, boating, pubs, dining out everything was sampled and we were grateful for his very accurate descriptions. We really enjoyed our stay at The Hayloft, the cottage was comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Our host was friendly and helpful, giving us some excellent recommendations for visits, eating places etc. The cottage was full of interesting, original pieces of art which we enjoyed immensely.
