The vibrant and historic city of Norwich (7 miles) has plenty of pet-welcoming places to explore including Eaton Park and The Close surrounding the impressive cathedral. For a day by the sea you can head to the beautiful Norfolk coast and the dog-friendly beaches at Horsey Gap, Waxham and Happisburgh (all within 12 miles).
