Gather your friends, family and four-legged friends for an adventure on the Norfolk Broads on a stay at this fantastic house with its spacious half-acre garden filled with mature plants. Within a mile of your doorstep, you’ll have the opportunity to hop aboard a boat to explore the fascinating 125 miles of waterways in the Broads, many of which welcome dogs aboard to enjoy the journey.

As you step inside, the boot room offers a place to hang your leads and take off your shoes. The living room is a great social space where natural light fills the room. With selection of soft sofas offer a place to rest your feet and the wood burner in the centre will quickly become a top spot for snoozing hounds. For formal dinners, the dining room is an elegant affair with book-filled shelves and a large window at one end surrounding the dining table. A smaller, more casual dining table is placed in the centre of the kitchen, surrounded by the modern navy-blue fittings which ensure cooking up meals for large groups can be done with ease. The two back kitchens and utility room then provide additional space for food preparations for celebrations. Upstairs are four blissful bedrooms, starting with the master bedroom which is furnished with an elegant king-size bed, boasting use of a dressing room and a bathroom complete with a roll-top bath. Next up is another king-size bedroom which features a roll-top bath. The final two bedrooms are great for families, including a tasteful twin room and a family room with both a king-size bed and a single day bed. Take the steps down to the garden and make the most of the sunshine in the expansive gardens which are full of gorgeous greenery, seating and outdoor entertainment for those on two legs as well as four.

Pay a visit to East Ruston (1 mile) for an active day out on the Weavers’ Way footpath which runs for a total of 61 miles between Cromer and Great Yarmouth where a range of scents and sights are sure to set tails wagging. For a taste of the coast, head to Cromer (14.5 miles) and join the Norfolk Coast Path to Sheringham (19.5 miles) to experience the rugged bliss of this part of the country, stopping off at one of the dog-friendly eateries at your destination to refuel.

The property and gardens are spacious and interesting, lovely, artistic interiors. Nice touches awaited us from the owner, a generous welcome hamper and beautiful fresh flowers from the garden! A second shower would have avoided the morning queue, but lovely comfortable beds and crisp white bed linen! Great place to stay

We have really enjoyed ourselves in this huge stunning home! We felt so welcome from the moment we were given the keys and we walked in the door. Much needed break. This lovely Georgian Farmhouse is situated between two villages in a peaceful rural country setting. Lovely house , lovely gardens and fresh flowers from the garden's cutting garden on our arrival. Elegant but relaxed, the perfect balance. Have not been to this part of Norfolk before but will certainly be coming back! - Oliver.

Massive house and gardens are much larger than they look in the pictures. Beautiful and comfortably presented. Generous welcome pack and great information on things to do locally. The owner gave us his personal favourites of places to eat and day trips. Our favourite was The Gunton Arms which we would not have found without him. Highly recomended.

Perfect weather for the magnificent gardens where we enjoyed playing croquet (badly!) and ate out in the garden a couple of times which was magical. Beautiful house decorated like a boutique hotel and Sylvie loved having her own bath in her bedroom. Peaceful, beautiful, and 5 miles from the sea. What more could you want? we'll be back soon!
