It’s an ideal location for guests seeking peace and quiet and good dog walks. The quaint cottage is well-equipped with thoughtful touches throughout for a comfortable stay. Your four-legged friend will love hanging out with you in the pretty suntrap patio and garden.

Sink into a cosy sofa in the bright and airy lounge/diner with your very own table for two at one end and French doors you can open to the garden for an irresistible inside-outside feel. Cook up a holiday feast or prepare packed lunches in the modern kitchen. The pretty king-size bedroom has a calm air and there’s a walk-in shower room, too. Outside, the enclosed garden has gravel and paved parts with outdoor furniture to soak up the sun any time of the day – or into the evening – with loads of vital sniffing for your furry pal.

If you need to stock up on supplies, Ipswich is just 10 miles away. The charming market towns of Woodbridge (4.5 miles) and Framlingham (7.5 miles) offer independent shopping, history and places to refuel. They both also have popular weekly markets showcasing regional produce. Framlingham, also home to Ed Sheeran, has its English Heritage Framlingham Castle with lots to see and do. Just beyond, the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty begins, with its wealth of walks and nature reserves. The National Trust’s Sutton Hoo (6 miles) is a fascinating place to visit as one of the most important Anglo-Saxon burial sites; dogs on leads are allowed on its walks.

The Snug is set in an ideal location for exploring the local area. The accommodation is of a great standard and has a dog friendly garden. The owners were helpful and provided recommendations for visiting the area. We had a lovely week at the Snug.

We had a very enjoyable holiday, the bed was very comfortable, we enjoyed eating our breakfast each morning on the patio! Our dog enjoyed long walks in the countryside. It was so quiet and peaceful and we both slept very well. It is a lovely place to switch off and listen to the country sounds of harvesting and cooing of the pigeons with no traffRead moreic noise. Richard and Alison were very friendly and helpful.The Snug was clean, nicely presented and provided everything that we required for our stay. There was a very convenient dog walk that started from just across the road and the property being approximately 4 miles from Woodbridge was a bonus. The Snug is a lovely comfortable little cottage in the heart of the Suffolk countryside. The owners, Richard & Alison, were very friendly & helpful. We would certainly recommend this comfortable cottage if you are wishing to visit Suffolk

We very much enjoyed our stay. The cottage was cosy and reasonably well equipped. It is well located for places like Woodbridge and Sutton Hoo. Enjoyed a visit to the Turks Head at Hasketon along some narrow country lanes.

We have just returned home from our third visit to Larksfield Snug. We love staying there as we can visit all the beautiful places we love with different walks with Sisco our dog. We had a very relaxing and peaceful stay at the Snug. The owners were very helpful and thoughtful. We were very grateful for the delicious scones and jam generously provided which were enjoyed on arrival . The Snug is situated in a lovely quiet area and not far from Woodbridge and the beautiful river Deben where we enjoyed walks.

Close to beaches and forest at Rendlesham. Cottage was clean and cosy the owners made us very welcome happy to suggest places to visit if asked. We would happily recommend this cottage and are intending visiting again in the future
