Enjoying a central location in the lively coastal village of Seahouses, this is a great base for walkers, cyclists, beach lovers and nature spotters discovering the region’s breathtaking countryside.

This charming property has a lovely high-ceilinged lounge with a large bay window, plush seating, a Smart TV and a cosy wood burner. This room leads through to an elegant, beamed dining room and a fully equipped kitchen with a handy utility room. The three light and coastal-themed bedrooms are all upstairs: two cheery doubles and a lovely bunk bedroom with two sets of adult-size bunk beds. The accommodation also features a refreshing ground-floor shower room and first-floor bathroom. Outside, the delightful patio garden has a quirky beach hut-style bar for you to stock as you wish. The garden features ample outdoor furniture, perfect for dining alfresco with your pet lying in the sun. There’s outdoor storage space for surfboards, bikes and outdoor gear. Private parking is available for one car on the driveway, with an additional permit for one car in the nearby car park over the summer.

Seahouses is a popular village with a lovely dog-friendly beach. Dogs are allowed along most of the local beaches including Budle Bay, Newton Haven, Beadnell Bay and Craster, all within 11 miles. There are miles of glorious walks along the Northumberland Coast National Landscape, with dogs permitted to help you explore the grounds at Dunstanburgh Castle (10.5 miles) and Bamburgh Castle (3.5 miles).

A lovely home situated in the centre of seahouses. Everything you need provided except a hairdryer but thats not a biggy! A walk on the beautiful beaches makes it look like a crows nest! Great communication from the owners. Will definitely return again

The only equipment that I wish was provided was a hairdryer. Every other holiday home we have stayed at over the years had a hairdryer. Otherwise, this is a wonderful home, centrally located, tastefully decorated, has 2 good bathrooms with good showers/tub. Kitchen has everything, and equipment seems new and of good quality. We found Amber Waves very well equipped, tastefully appointed and ideally located. The property is a credit to the owners who have thought of every comfort and convenience for their guests. Its the perfect place to relax after exploring all the beautiful places Northumberland has to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
