Bundle the family and dog in the car and head to this charming bungalow for a beach holiday in pretty Northumberland. You’ll have lovely sea views from your living room and a beautiful beach just half a mile away. Scenic dog walks are on tap, with the 62-mile Northumberland Coast Path running straight past the property. With room for six over three bedrooms, this accommodation is ideal for a large family or group of friends wishing to holiday with one pet.
The inside of this one-storey property is well-presented and airy, with large windows and seaside-themed artwork on the walls. In the dual-aspect lounge, sink into the comfy sofas and lose yourself in a film while your pet nods off by the cosy wood burner. There’s ample outside space for children and pets to enjoy, with an enclosed lawn garden that wraps around the side, back and front. The decked area at the rear, complete with wicker furniture, is a lovely spot for kicking back with a glass of wine in mild weather. A BBQ is on hand for those fresh-air feasts that continue late into the night.
When it’s time to venture out of your spacious temporary home, you could head for a drink in a doggie-friendly pub 0.5 miles away. The local beach at Beadnell Bay is a gorgeous sandy cove where you can spend an afternoon rock pooling and paddling (please keep your dog on a lead during bird breeding season). When you fancy a longer leg stretch, we recommend letting the dog lead the way along the coast path to Seahouses, a market town 2 miles away. Here you can tuck into some fish and chips or enjoy some lunch at a cafe before walking back.
