In the heart of one of Norfolk’s premier seaside towns, this light and airy abode – part of a converted former chapel – has an enclosed patio garden plus sought-after private parking. Huge windows and high ceilings flood this contemporary coastal home with light, while well-chosen furnishings create cosy spaces where all can unwind in comfort.
There’s room for everyone to stretch out in the stylish lounge, where a Smart TV provides evening entertainment and a flame-effect electric fire keeps paws and toes warm even in the depths of winter. Close by, the kitchen has all the chef’s essentials alongside a pretty dining suite, plus a door to the garden. Above, there’s a bright family bathroom and two cheery bedrooms – one has twin beds and the other has a king-size bed and its own en-suite shower room. The beach is less than 400 metres from your doorstep, but you can enjoy the sea air and sunshine in your own private patio garden, which comes complete with outdoor furniture and a BBQ. The parking space is a real bonus in this town centre location too!
Sheringham is a popular Victorian town on the North Norfolk coast, with a promenade and plenty of sand for strolls with Fido. For something more leg-stretching, do the 4.5-mile walk towards Cromer; you’ll have the option to join the Norfolk Coast Path at East or West Runton and walk back along the cliffs if the tide’s coming in. One of the highest points in Norfolk, Beeston Bump is on the edge of town; known as the lair of local canine legend, Black Shuck, this is said to be where Sir Arthur Conan Doyle found inspiration for The Hound Of The Baskervilles. The walk to the top is rewarded with far-reaching views along the coast; you can enjoy similar from Sheringham Park, 2.5 miles inland.
