The beautiful beach Saunton Sands is just 2.5 miles away where there are golden sands and a range of food outlets. It’s also a popular destination for surfers. From here you can get access to the Tarka Trail providing miles of pathways for you to walk or cycle. Braunton is also home to the Museum of British Surfing and also just 5 miles from the market town of Barnstaple with its theatre, cinema and leisure centre.
The ground floor comprises of a small entrance hall leading into a bright and welcoming, open-plan living room/diner. There’s a sofa and armchair, coffee table and Smart TV. If you feel a bit chilly, turn on the flame-effect gas wood burner for a cosy atmosphere. The dining area has a table and chairs for four people. You then have a door leading into the fully equipped kitchen with modern dark-blue units and white worktops, various appliances plus a coffee machine for you to use. Separate to the kitchen is a utility room with a washing machine plus handy storage for coats, shoes and surfing/beach equipment. Upstairs, there are two lovely bedrooms and a bathroom. Bedroom one is a spacious room with a super-king-size bed, built-in wardrobe and a dressing area with a table and mirror. Bedroom two is a cheerful twin with zip-and-link beds that can be converted into a king-size bed on request. It also has a built-in wardrobe and dressing table. The bathroom is a contemporary design with marbled white and grey tiles and black fittings. It has a shower over the bath, WC and heated towel rail.
Outside, you have an enclosed patio area – the perfect suntrap – with garden furniture and a gate to a parking area with space for two cars. There’s also a handy storage area for bikes with hanging space for wetsuits and board racks.
