A lovely house but let down by no heating working on the first day although the owner did come over and light the log burners, however if you had small children this would be very unsafe as no guards for the log burners. No hot water in the room over the garage on the first night either. A plumber was called in for the second day arriving around lRead moreunchtime. There is no welcome pack which we would have expected to find in a property in this rental price bracket. There was hardly any washing up liquid and no dishwasher tablets either. The outside lighting was not enough to be able to walk from the main house to the room over the garage so a torch would have been handy as could be quite dangerous. These things really let the property down however if these things were addresses then the stay would have been lovely and I would recommend to family and friends. Hide

My family and I (age range 9 months to 71 years) have just returned from a fabulous week at Harbour Lodge. The house was perfect for our needs - loads of room inside the property and in the garden. The hot tub was extremely popular with all age groups. Beautiful house, very well equipped. Easy walk to the village green, local shop, pubs, beach and Read moreferry across the estuary towards Southwold. Owner, Naomi, was very welcoming and helpful - thank you. I have already checked the availability for next year, we would all love to return. Hide

This house was perfect for our needs. We had a family holiday with young children and dogs. The area offers so much to do without using the car. It was given 10/10 by my grandchildren and we would love to return.
