We stayed in the property the week of New Year's Eve when it was very cold - the property was described as having underfloor heating throughout which was not the case and apparently a mistake by Holiday Cottages rather than the owner. We have been compensated for this by Holiday Cottages. The top bedroom was also very cold as is only single-glazRead moreed with no curtain only a blind and no electric blankets. The kitchen and shower room are also unheated. These are of course not an issue in the summer and the house is in an amazing position above the harbour with access to the town, beaches, restaurants, shops and lots to see and do. Hide

This is the perfect place for a multi generational holiday! The house is spacious, including bedrooms so everyone has the space they need to relax or do their own thing. The kitchen is well equipped, we cooked several evenings and had everything we needed. It was really handy to have the washing machine and washing line in the garden (which is a suRead moren trap!). There were books, games and maps which we all made use of and the tv has all the subscriptions which the kids loved. The house was spotless and really couldnt have asked for more. It really isnt a long walk to the beach (we went everyday!) and yes, it is a little steep on the way back but we found the harbour walk a little easier as it was less steps and more steep hill - worth nothing that those with limited mobility would struggle. Parking is tricky but we were lucky enough to found a spot round the back and we didnt move the cars once parked up. We will be back to stay again! Hide

We had a fabulous stay at Trinity Terrace. We booked fairly last minute and were pleasantly surprised with managing to secure such a great property. The house was really clean and well equipped - we had everything we needed and everything was in perfect working order. The property is uphill with only a footpath out the front and so accessibility maRead morey be an issue for some people - we found it perfectly manageable even with a 9 month old baby however. We have also been holidaying in Weymouth for many years so were aware that parking nearby may be difficult - despite this we managed to park all 3 cars on adjacent streets for the duration of the stay with no problems. Only other thing to note is that as an old terraced property the layout features lots of little steps and old creaky flooring - we might reconsider booking again when our little one is starting to walk around as it might not be an ideal layout - however we would definitely book again once she is a little older. Overall a lovely property with fabulous views over the harbour. Hide

We all loved the cottage. Fabulous views from the main and attic bedrooms. The little rear garden is a suntrap. Modern decor, well equipped, clean and fresh. 5 mins from town centre.

Local taxis and buses are generally on time and provide a good service. The harbour and town are very close although we found the walk back up the hill to the cottage tiring after our days out. We used taxis to get back. Definitely not recommended for individuals who find walking difficult and definitely no wheelchair users.

The cottage was wonderful. Best equipped we've ever stayed in and very comfortable. The view from the bedrooms is fantastic. The only downside is how far away you need to park. The upside to it though, the cottage is in such a great location that you can easily walk into town and not use your car at all. Once it's parked up you can forget about itRead more and enjoy Weymouth by foot. Hide
