Enjoy a break at this fabulous bungalow and you’ll be close to both Sandringham and the flat sands of The Wash. Comfortably accommodating four guests and two four-legged friends, it’s in the heart of one of the region’s largest villages where there’s lots to enjoy from the doorstep.
Mature gardens greet your arrival; step through the front door and you’ll be met by a comfortable lounge with a choice of seating, Smart TV and wood burner, plus a dining suite in one corner so everyone can gather effortlessly for meals and movies. There’s everything you need for hassle-free food prep in the nearby kitchen, and when it’s time to retire, there are two lovely double bedrooms to choose from just down the hall – plus a convenient family bathroom. The enclosed garden has high fences so Fido can wander safely as you unwind outdoors; with a lawn, outdoor furniture and seasonal planting, it’s a fresh-air space everyone will enjoy.
Stroll around the village or head 1.5 miles to Sandringham where there’s the 600-acre Royal Park to explore as well as the dog-friendly Dersingham Bog National Nature Reserve. For adventures further afield, stroll along the sand at Snettisham Beach (5.5 miles) or stretch your legs for longer with a shoreline hike from the pretty village of Heacham (6 miles) to the Victorian seaside town of Hunstanton (8.5 miles) – the only resort on the east coast of England to face west, it’s lovely at sunset. For a different day out, King’s Lynn (10 miles) was once one of England’s most important ports; wander around the historic harbour and two magnificent marketplaces. Nearby, Castle Rising (5 miles) is one of the largest, best-preserved and most lavishly decorated keeps in England, surrounded by 20 acres of mighty earthworks. Pups are permitted in part of the grounds here, and they’re also welcome to sniff around the ruins of the Augustinian Creake Abbey, 14 miles from your holiday home.
