This wonderful Georgian house just a few yards from Blakeney Quay is overflowing with character and charm. Sitting on the edge of a nature reserve, it sleeps six people over four bedrooms and welcomes two faithful friends. It’s the perfect accommodation option for families and groups of friends in search of a country hideaway where they can enjoy some lovely long hikes right from the front door. You’ll love the gracious layout and stylish interiors, and your pups will adore snoozing in front the wood burner each evening.
Step inside this beautiful brick and flint home and make your way to the open-plan kitchen/diner. Boasting French doors that lead out to the garden, this is a stylish and bright place to rustle up some dinner for your loved ones. Get the whole gang together to eat at the large table - there’s enough room for everyone. Alternatively, head outside to the large garden, fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco. The garden is totally enclosed, so your pups can happily potter around while you eat. After dinner, crack open a bottle of something cool and crisp on the patio, or head to the elegant living room to chill out in front of the TV while your pup stretches out in front of the wood burner. When it’s time for bed, you’ll find four lovely bedrooms upstairs.
Blakeney Point (0.2 miles) is home to England’s largest grey seal colony. Dogs on leads are welcome from autumn to early spring, although they are not allowed in the area from April 1 to August 15. At this time you can walk your pup at Salthouse Beach (4 miles). Alternatively, head to Aylsham (17.5 miles) and hop aboard the steam train for a trip on the Bure Valley Railway. Dogs are welcome.
