Enjoy a memorable group holiday at this spacious luxury accommodation in rural Northumberland. The gorgeous stone building is located in the village of Acomb, which has a doggie-friendly pub (500 metres) for an evening pint. You’ll be just 5 miles from the southern part of Northumberland National Park, a.k.a. doggie heaven, and 21 from the city of Newcastle for if you fancy an urban day out. The accommodation has space for up to eight humans and two dogs, so is perfect for a multi-generational family trip or holiday among friends.

The expansive views, which you can admire from the light-filled conservatory, lounge or garden, are perhaps the best thing about this roomy accommodation. There’ll be plenty of space for your group to relax, in the lounge, kitchen-diner or separate snug. After a busy day visiting the local sites, kick back on the large sofas while your pets nod off on the plush carpet. In mild weather, you’ll want to make the most of the south-facing garden, where you can sizzle up a yummy BBQ to be enjoyed in the fresh air as the dogs’ nostrils quiver at all the delicious smells.

The pretty market town of Hexham, with its medieval abbey, cobbled streets and bustling town centre, is just 2 miles away. You’ll be spoilt for choice for pet-pleasing trails, with several routes leaving from the village as well as options further. At Corbridge Roman Fort (4 miles), located on Hadrian''s Wall, dogs on leads are welcome so you can lap up the local history together. For some idyllic scenery, drive 9.5 miles from the North Pennines, a huge Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty famous for its stunning heather moors and peatland that your pets will love guiding you over.

Excellent location and easy booking system. Many areas of the house to very high specification namely bathrooms kitchen and utility room. I am guessing that over time the rest of the house will be brought up to date in dcor
