Just over a mile from the coast, where you will have a wide variety of pet-friendly beaches to choose from, the property has plenty of space for six guests and one four-pawed pal. With timber ceiling beams, a welcoming wood burner and bright, spacious living areas and bedrooms, this sweet and cosy getaway is a perfect bolthole for eager walkers, cyclists, beach fans and nature spotters.

The characterful lounge offers a roaring wood burner, exposed timber beams and plenty of seating, perfect for sitting back in the evenings to chat about the day or watch a movie on the Smart TV. The ground floor also has a stylish, fresh and airy kitchen/diner, a handy workspace in the hall and a beautifully finished children’s play area. Upstairs, there’s a bright, refreshing bathroom and three spacious, light-filled bedrooms decorated in cool shades. There’s a king-size room, a double and a cosy twin room ideal for younger guests, with a single bed and steps leading up to a galley-style bed. From the lounge, patio doors open out onto the back garden which features a lovely lawn where your pet can run around, and a decked area with outdoor furniture, offering a peaceful spot to dine in the sunshine. The Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty offers miles of wonderful walks for your dog to lead you along, with pet-friendly beaches including Bamburgh, Beadnell Bay and Seahouses, all within 6 miles. You can also join your dog to explore the historic remains of both Dunstanburgh Castle (7 miles) and Bamburgh Castle (6 miles).

What a wonderful property - much nicer (and larger) than we expected. Immaculately clean and beautifully presented there was nothing more we could have wished for. We were sorry to leave !!

The property was lovely and ideally placed for me, being in a quiet location, but only a few minutes away from the beach and to bigger towns/villages. The property was comfortable with good levels of equipment (I especially appreciated the Nespresso machine!), cleanliness was adequate, but not exactly throughly so, however, it didnt spoil the holiRead moreday at all, more of an observation and certainly inline with what Ive generally come to expect from holiday properties (thus not a complaint). So welcoming especially after such a long freezing journey in snow and rain. The fire was ready to light, the fairy lights on, the heating on full and a welcoming light in the hallway. We were welcomed by a lovely little goodie bag of treats and immediately opened the wine and felt at home. Our holiday had begun well.

We stayed with you twice before, but Seasalt was particularly good. Really well equipped and very family friendly. Felt very much like we were guests in another family's house - but in a good way.

We expected to be further away from the sea than we were. We could even see the sea. It was fabulous. We will be booking this cottage again and bringing friends to stay in the two cottages next door. We had a quick peek at Driftwood on our departure and it looked just as gorgeous as Seasalt.

Seasalt is a beautiful cottage, filled with quality and spotlessly clean. Perfect layout of rooms for family comfort. The play corner is an amazing bonus, as is the lovely shared garden. Our 4 year old grandson was very happy there. The booking process was seamless and communication from Original Cottages is exemplary. We will definitely be back
