Gaze out into the wide-open countryside that surrounds this property as you plan your daily dog walks, plotting a route where no stick can be left unfetched amongst coast and countryside terrains. The cottage itself is a fantastically finished family home with statement décor and eclectic features dotted throughout, an unparalleled choice for any pack made up of seven guests and two four-pawed pals.

Open-plan living awaits in the family-friendly lounge/kitchen/diner, a spot with patio door access to the garden for sunny days and a wood burner for cold nights. Step into the garden where you’ll find extensive lawn space, children’s toys and a furnished patio. You can let pups have free roam here as the garden is securely fenced in. Curl up on the plush L-shaped sofa with Rover snoozing by the fire as evening falls or retire early to three lovely bedrooms and enjoy a movie night from the comfort of your bed. The bedrooms are made up of two king-size rooms and a triple room with a bunk bed, the latter a great option for kids hoping to enjoy a holiday sleepover.

As well as being surrounded by ample farmland that’s ripe for exploring, Tughall Steads is situated just 3 miles from the Northumberland hotspot of Beadnell. With its vibrant beach, lively fishing harbour and coastal walks heading north or south, you’ll find so many activities to fill your days from here. The famous horseshoe-shaped beach is dog-friendly for games of fetch or walks on the sand and the sand dunes offer a great space for pets to exercise. An exciting day out can be found from the harbour, where Farne Island boat tours welcome well-behaved dogs to find their sea paws.

Beautiful garden and potentially lovely home in an absolutely fantastic area, however too filthy to enjoy. House very unclean and poorly maintained.

This was an ideal house for a family party of four adults and four kids (albeit babe in arms). Very quiet. Ideally situated between beaches. Highly recommend.

We had the most brilliant weekend at the Apple Store. It is a beautiful cottage and incredibly well equipped in all rooms, so much thought has gone into it. We would love to return! Our dog Bobby was also a very happy chap all weekend! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Apple Store is located in small development. Premises is equipped to a very high standard. Big secure garden with wooden garden furniture. Excellent value for money. Great base for exploring the Northumberland, particularly the coastal area
