The cottage itself is a fantastically finished family home with statement décor and eclectic features dotted throughout, an unparalleled choice for any pack made up of seven guests and two four-pawed pals.

Open-plan living awaits in the family-friendly lounge/kitchen/diner, a spot with patio door access to the garden for sunny days and a wood burner for cold nights. Step into the garden where you’ll find extensive lawn space, children’s toys and a furnished patio. You can let pups have free roam here as the garden is securely fenced in. Curl up on the plush L-shaped sofa with Rover snoozing by the fire as evening falls or retire early to three lovely bedrooms and enjoy a movie night from the comfort of your bed. The bedrooms are made up of two king-size rooms and a triple room with a bunk bed, the latter a great option for kids hoping to enjoy a holiday sleepover.

As well as being surrounded by ample farmland that’s ripe for exploring, Tughall Steads is situated just 3 miles from the Northumberland hotspot of Beadnell. With its vibrant beach, lively fishing harbour and coastal walks heading north or south, you’ll find so many activities to fill your days from here. The famous horseshoe-shaped beach is dog-friendly for games of fetch or walks on the sand and the sand dunes offer a great space for pets to exercise. An exciting day out can be found from the harbour, where Farne Island boat tours welcome well-behaved dogs to find their sea paws.

A wonderful property which we have visited twice now. Its so beautifully decorated and very comfortable. There was plenty of room for all 6 of us - something you dont find often. Everything you need is here, even in the kitchen. We will be back!

Lovely holiday home. Excellent situation for exploring Northumberland coastal areas. The Apple store was fully equipped with everything necessary for perfect holiday accommodation

We love coming here but will think twice before booking again as the prices for next summer seem very steep. Also, I sent an email during our stay (to which I did not receive a response) letting you know that someone else's used towels had been left in our bathroom.
