Escape to the Northumberland coast in this charming holiday cottage in the old quarter of Seahouses. The cottage sleeps seven guests and two pups and is perfect for both large families and groups of friends. The property is just 300 metres from the village’s sandy, paw-friendly beach and you’ll have easy access to the coast path, which leads to Beadnell (2 miles) and Bamburgh (3.5 miles). The sociable holiday home has an open-plan layout and boasts far-reaching sea views.
Enter the traditional cottage into the spacious lounge/kitchen/diner which has a contemporary style and neutral colour palette. Share family mealtimes around the wooden dining table and stretch out on the plump corner sofa to watch a film on the Smart TV. A roaring wood burner creates a cosy dozing spot for your furry companions. Upstairs, all three bedrooms enjoy sea views across the rooftops, and one has a handy en-suite bathroom. A sleek family bathroom completes the accommodation. Outside, you and the woofers can watch the world go by from the small seating area to the front of the property.
You and the hounds will find plenty to see and do in the colourful fishing village of Seahouses. Take a stroll around the bustling harbour, watching the fishing boats going about their day, or perhaps hop on one of the boat trips to go wildlife watching along the coast. The Northumberland Coast Path passes through the village, and you can follow it to the magnificent stretch of paw-friendly sand at Beadnell Bay or head north to the stylish coastal village of Bamburgh, with its impressive Norman castle, fantastic collection of woof-welcoming eateries, and a picture-postcard white, sandy beach.
